Unshakeable resolve that’s firmly locked
in fantasy is often worse
than spinelessness that’s very often mocked
in prose or in polemic verse,
for people who are rubber-spined can bend,
correcting what they have admitted
to be gross errors with which they offend,
and with stiff neck have been committed.
