Unspoken Woes (Recommended) Poem by Ridah Ellahi

Unspoken Woes (Recommended)

I hold this pen
To give an outlet
To the sea of emotions
Twisting and turning inside me
But my this faithful pen
Has now abandoned me too
Write!
Write you must!
But there’s so much to say
I’m afraid the pages shall start to bleed
Once I start to give away
I have now become accustomed
To my silent internal suffering
I do not want to let this out
Maybe these sealed lips
Will be the cause of my last breath
The cause of my long awaited freedom

Much of your pain is the bitter potion by which the physician within you heals your sick self.
