Untamed, The Creature Man Poem by james watkin

Untamed, The Creature Man

Rating: 5.0

Untamed, the creature man
Does more a scrub's tyrant
More a lion, to terrorize.
From times ferny-distant
Since Eden, when his keepers
The Seraphin lifted
Their benevolent guard, more
Than fixed smiles have fled.
The lamb's mildness, that lulled
And unresisting picture.
Bled a shepherd, Judean
Its peace to re-secure.
