Torn by the knowledge
that you loved me for my security and confidence,
but having the need to tell someone of my fears.
I wage a silent war.
Should I be strong in your sight and only let my love flow
forgetting all my worries?
Or should I trust you enough
to tell you my hurts and the shadow
that plays upon my sanity?
Would you feel weighed down by the responsibility of comforting me,
or torchered by the need in me to confide in you?
