Untitled Poem by Christal Carpenter

Untitled

I gasp at the ivory maiden
who secretly sings my song
and dances in the shadows
in the city of Durong

her lips pierced so tightly
her sadness set in stone
and in the shadows dancing
her heart is all alone

her fingers grasp the essence
of satans seven sins
and while the world is spinning
her life just begins

although all is watching
her slow suicide
she keeps on dancing
like there is nothing left to hide

some day you will find her
sadly singing a song
and all the while laughing
like nothing in the world is wrong
