Untitled. Poem by Lacie Wasserman

Untitled.

Hatred and distaste. The shock of when you hold a metallic piece of metal underneath the tip of your tongue. The smirks and sneers of others. Full of fire just waiting to be released. Muscles twitching. Adrenaline pumping through the veins of your body. Pulsing and keening your every nerve. Rage flowing through your mind. Whats the next step. Kicking screaming throwing punches. Wanting it to all end. To be over with. Wishing it to freeze over. Take a deep breath. Settle down. Just let it go. They're not worth the pain. Not worth your time. Not worth them controlling you and how you live. Your done and so are they. Lights out.
