Up And Alone - Poem by john tiong chunghoo

up and alone
at night

this lonely lane
echoes to me
how lonely
it could be
to be alone

each step
brings an echo
imploring me
for an answer
as to where
i actually want to go

This sense of being alone provides more activity to a mind that desires to have one to share this temporary feeling. Enjoy it for what it's worth. Much can be accomplished. I like this poem.
