Use Your Faith Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Use Your Faith

No matter what it looks like,
From the outside.
To keep you feeling frightened,
Inside each night.
Accepting fear.
And...
Being uptight.

Use your faith.
Kept trusted.
Use your faith.
As if you know you should and must.
To less depend on luck.
Luck to wish for will keep your mind,
Messed up.

Use your faith.
Kept trusted.
Use your faith.
And less to depend on luck.
Luck to wish for will keep your mind,
Messed up.

No matter what it looks like,
From the outside.
Accepting fear.
And staying uptight.
Decide,
To use your faith.
Kept to keep it trusted.
Use your faith.
Feeling that you know you must.
Since luck to wish for,
Will only keep your mind messed up.
