Useless Exercise Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Useless Exercise

I thought and rethought
Gave hard stare and fought
Yet it did not budge
Who else was to come and judge?

Some people think about neighbor?
For happening inside door
What will they be thinking?
And start blinking

Such people need advice
For not giving clear promises
For not speaking clear
And crate unknown fear

In night, I lay down in bed
And try to sleep like dead
But mind remains awake
With all ideas as fake

It is useless exercise
That leads to no surprise
Everybody is aware
Yet we think more
