Uzbek Mother
Uzbek Mother,
Do not be sad,
i can see you mourning
For your lost soldiers
Died for world peace
in Afghanistan!
I see your sculpture
And the flame burning before
And think of the loss and grief
Of you the mourning mother
For your sons!
I can see shoes and footwears
Of the dead and missing soldiers
Who have not returned home
Fighting the militiamen!
