V E Day 75th Anniversary
In all wars there's a price,
A price to so sadly pay.
The Fallen never forgotten,
For today is V E Day.
People of all walks of life,
Sacrificing the very most.
Today all to be remembered,
Their courage we all do toast.
Raise a glass for the victors,
Who are still among the living.
And those who've passed away,
To receive our humble thanksgiving.
