Vagabonds - Poem by Stan Rodriguez

There are pathways that we must travel
with uncertainties of what will happen next.

But we have been vagabonds for years
and we know each other's movements
and each other's ways.

Traumatic lifetimes we have passed
and left behind
winning over any questions that were made.

We have conquered all the demons of our past
although the price of some
weren't easy for anyone to face.

And so, we continue our travels hand in hand,
and side by side into our future
as we traveled all those yesterdays
together—you and me.
