Valentines In April - Poem by Adonis Labial
To be with your lover and have something to share,
Being sent with chocolates, roses or a teddy bear,
Is this all that matters or all we care?
Is it not loving that the best thing that you can share?
Take off your blindfolds and start to see clear
That we're living a life with so much fears.
We're being imprisoned in our own prison cell.
For there is no longer love that is in the air,
Anxiety is being covered with much greed within.
What is valentines and the message it brings?
Is it not loving that is beyond all compare?
It is better then to celebrate valentines in April
When the one true lover in the cross was nailed.
