Vampire Tweets Poem by Benjamin Feliciano

Vampire Tweets

Some people are afraid of death,
Others fear living.
I want to exist as though neither matter.
I was not made for anything
But deconstructing the environment.
I am the everyman that wants to be everyone else;
More than waste, but offering no creation.
What am I helping with my words?
Who is feeling my heart beat
When I am far?
Every musician encouraging me
To quit my day job and follow my dreams,
Has made more money then I'll ever see.
It's not realistic to want to write for a living
In a world where Twilight is literature,
And Twitter is news.
Simplicity and brevity chain and drown my muse.
All I'm left to do is work and write and die.
