Vault (Written 12/17/09) Poem by Lady Lyrical Kay

Love is like a vault, I keep mines hidden,

only one has the key, to them it was given.

To open me up, I will open my heart,

open my mind, to get a fresh start.

I can't even hide my feelings for you,

that's why I didn't know my key was for you.

Yes, it is true, you make my day better,

even if my skies are grey, you change my weather.

But even if it wasn't meant for us,

we can be friends, I'm serious, please trust.

So, since it's said, it's done; we're in love.

The feelings we have for each other cannot be undone.
