Victory Poem by Vi Lanflagle

Victory

I'm surrounded on all sides
There's no palce to run
No place to hide.

I'm not ready to quit
I won't give up.
Not without a fight.

If i am to surrender all will be lost
They will win and i'll pay the cost.

If i wave that white flag,
I'll be claiming defeat.
But i won't wave that flag,
I will not be beat.

The war rages on outside this tight circle.
Some have surrounded me
And they grow ever closer.

Then somebody cheers,
And the circle is gone.
I'm so glad
We've finally won.
