Victory over evil forces

Today is the auspicious day for Hindus in India
It is time for victory over evil forces
The Goddess Durga* relieved saints and people
From the evil forces who had caused lots of problems

Every year we kill the demon
Who troubles human beings
Each year we claim victory
But feel sorry in rest of the days

The same evil force is within us
We cannot unseat and lack the trust
This festival has remained with ceremonial observance
But in fact, we are suffering from these evil forces

If we can remove the enemies within
The result shall definitely be seen
If so, it commits us as human beings
To bring peace and harmony

All the festivals have some messages
And this is celebrated for centuries
repeating the same rituals
But doing nothing for the dual role

Let us celebrate it with one resolve
Let us remove wolves sitting inside
Give enough of respect for woman's power
Who helped us to recover from the demon
