Village Secrets Poem by Eddie Roa

Village Secrets

long kept secrets
lay beneath a placid lake
move with scurrying fish and
into a brook they flow,
washed and cleansed by cascades
still the brook babbles through the houses
now the whole village knows
kept secrets of long ago
