Violins Play Poem by Joyce Hemsley

Violins Play

Late afternoon and violins play.
Delightful operettas they convey
Taking us up to heaven afar
With music and song by Franz Lehar.

We honour the name of this Composer
Oh come little birdie, closer ~ closer.
Feathered friends may listen to violins too
Enjoying the magic 'neath skies of blue.

Brahms' gentle Lullaby calms the world
Each little baby and each tiny bird.
And Elgar's music is blessing the day
As all through the Universe violins play.
