Virgin Ears Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Virgin Ears

To eventually discover truth.
And the reality of it to pursue.
Can be both traumatic and rewarding.
But the benefits this has,
Seldom leaves one...
Mentally conflicted.

Many today...
Find themselves arguing to defend,
Deceptions told to them.
Without facts.
Or reality of truth involved.
And so difficult it is,
To win an argument with anyone like this.
Since from birth...
To have been whispered in their virgin ears,
Are delusions to receive and accept.
Heard for most of their lives not know,
Their minds had been purposely violated.
Leaving them to innocently victimize others.
