There are so many places
That you and I have been
Some we have revisited
Over and over again

We sit at a table
Discuss many things
Like, where we are going
Where we have been

The talk is light as we laugh
Recalling things from our past
Sometimes it gets very serious
No questions ever go unasked

Neither one of us gets upset
Because of the love we share
No matter what is ever said
Because of our love we're always fair

Our words are never spoken in anger
To each other we never raise our voice
We're always willing to listen to the other
It's something that's done by choice

What I feel in my heart for you
Will forever live inside of me
I been around enough to know
With you is where I want to be

There are so many places
That you and I have been
I know these special places
We'll for sure visit again
