Visual Point Of View Poem by Edwina Reizer

Visual Point Of View

Who lives across the ocean?
Who lives across the sea?
Is it someone who's wondering
just like me?

I stare across these waters.
I stare but cannot see
if there's anyone that's staring
I wish that they would be

someone I could talk with
about the deep blue sea,
And see if it's any different
from what it is I see.

I focus on the horizon
but there my vision ends.
Beyond this point of seeing
my imagination bends.

For I'm not the other side
looking across this way.
And that someone I am thinking about
sees night while I see day.
