Vital Yet Unexplained Poem by Eve Wilson

Vital Yet Unexplained

Rating: 4.5

Beyond this reality there is a torment
A place wanting to be reached, to be defined
Only one supercomputer in the world can consent
Unexplained this place remains
Untouched, yet somehow still there
It binds the world in chains
Some pray to leave
Some long to linger
In this place, our alternate reality we weave
But is it really our own doing?
Though 20 years we’ll spend there
Is it of our choosing?
Will it ever be explained, these apparent schemes?
Can science ever touch this strange dwelling?
That abode of life only accessed in our dreams

Eve, I like this...Virtually flawless structural movement throughout...You ask many questions in this work, which can siphon value from a poem, and present its text as being more prosaic than traditional poetry...However, your delivery makes it clear...this is POETRY...And good poetry! ~FjR~
