Vive La Revolution Poem by Sumit Ganguly

Vive La Revolution

Hearts were ignited in American War of Independence.
French Revolution carried the flame far and wide.
The torch arrives in huts and palaces
vanguards march shoulder to shoulder
people volunteer, camaraderie grows,
the torch is carried beyond horizon.
New blood strives to keep rainbow promise
alas, tears flow from shattered dreams.
Oysters need to suffer long for creating pearls,
so do the society for metamorphosis.
