He's here in early morning to try on luck,
no competitor around, interview is at ten o clock,
there is hope behind the closed door
but he is interacting with own ifs and don'ts.
Two spades have fed him from early teenage.
Roller coaster life has made him a man,
taught to shut up and shed sweat,
certificates of driving, chef, guides- speak of him.
He is at the second step of the stairs
but not at the first lap of age.
Still he will outweigh his fickle contestants
by winning strokes of less need and high allegiance.
