Voices Poem by Miral El Nahry

Voices

A tear slid on her cheek
She knew she was too weak
Too weak to rest her thoughts
Her thoughts were what she fought..

It was just another day
Her happiness was far away
This isnt how she wanted it to end
Laying in the blood she bled
Her body was nothing but dull
Nothing her soul wanted to undo
Everything she thought was final..

Close your eyes
Away from lies
Rest it all
Dont try to stall
Now she thinks she'll fall..

Her depression was never the answer
Her mind was always the key
It just got her more anger
That person she wanted to be
she felt her heart broken
Like It's almost been stroken
But she wont rest
Until It's best
Maybe she will hope
That her heart will cope
With this world around her
That's making her stir..

She can hear her head..
It encouraged her..Here's what it's said..
'You wont give up
Until you irrupt
You will not bail
Even if you're frail'

She's Tormented..
Haunted..
Blinded..
