Vote, do not play
On Election Day
Go out there, vote for the donkey
Not the bully, not the dummy
This has been a highly contentious
Mud-slinging campaign with insults
Nobody knew that grown adults
Could be so puerile and audacious.
Vote for common sense
Not feculent nonsense
Vote to tighten our ties
Not for innuendos and ugly lies
People, People, Election Day
Is the day that you convey
Strong messages. Your fate
Is in the ballot. This is the date.
This is it. Stop the hate
Elect the right candidate
To the highest office
Go thoroughly over the list
Fight against racism and bigotry
Fight for unity and democracy
Your future is in your hand
Vote, vote and make a stand.
America is truly better
When we stand together.
