Vote Your Soul Poem by Randy McClave

Voting is easy and quite simple for me
I vote the way that my soul does see.
I don't vote for the party, I vote for the person
And I steer away from insulting and bullying and cursin'.
I vote for the person who follows the Bible
And who does not sale them and is like a disciple,
The one who tries their best to steer away from sin
But, I won't vote for those who commit sins again and again.
I will not vote for or support a cheater a greedy person or a hater or a liar
Indeed they will end up in Hell's fire,
And those who say sacrilegiously that they were sent by God
While committing crimes and adultery they are a fraud.
No one is perfect everyone makes mistakes
But, many don't truly repent they are indeed the fakes,
Remember, the lord Jesus said not to hate, but forgive and turn the other cheek
He also said help the poor and the needy and always the weak.
So many of us commits mistakes which is true
While some keep committing mistakes and crimes through and through,
Some will never say they are sorry or will ever repent
Truly they are Hell and sin bent.
Those who hate and judge and bully are indeed not a Christian
To the teachings of Jesus they did not ever really listen,
Those who understand the Bible and in it what was wrote
They are closer in Jesus's footsteps, they will get my vote.
