Vultures - Poem by Carsten Thomsen
As the
vultures
descended
As the wolves
drew
nearer
And the sharks
, tasting blood,
circled ever
closer
I feared nothing
but myself
and my memory
of you.
The hand holding
gun is
mine
but you
cast the bullets.
