Wading In The Ocean Of Oneness Poem by Mohammad Younus

Wading In The Ocean Of Oneness

Wading in the ocean of oneness,
I wanted to catch the formless,
Wasting time, baking my eyes,
My glances returned to me humbled and tired.

I undid my illusions and delusions,
Smashing the web, that I had woven around myself,
Locking me up in my own cocoon, cutting me off.
From the reality, wearing million veils,
Woven from the threads of differentiation,
And separation.

Prayers helped me see the creation,
As His own manifestation,
That reinforced in me the belief,
In the omnipotence of the creator,
Who creates, destructs, and then recreates,
The objects of His own manifestation.
