Wait Poem by Sankhajit Bhattacharjee

Wait

How longer will I...!
I will no longer wait.
The eternal time flows, while the life's time
remains stagnant- a situation I do hate.

I am not tide
but I wish to be...on the surface of life's ocean.
I am not time-
I don't know what happens when.

After day, night creeps in.
After night, a sunrise assures a new day.
After failure, comes success-
after waiting with patience, one finds a way.

But I am frustrated, years of hopelessness have made me so,
how can I find a way out!
Time will bring the right time to take risk-
a decision will make me to flow on: ignoring summer drought.

I think so-
there is nothing to worry.
A car is standing due to signal at a turning point,
one shall not hurry.
