Wait For Weight In Words Poem by Cynthia Buhain-baello

Wait For Weight In Words

Stop the flurried maze of words,
Burdened so in Volume, drowned -
For Substance loses its reward
When naked meanings there are found.

Thirst for Depth, Touch or Sway
Let the dried pen drink of Life
Perhaps in Silence it will convey
Drops of thoughts thus fruited ripe.

Where the words become many
Meanings end up being less
But just one piece that is weighty
May have an Impact's great success.
