Waiting Poem by Ponniah Ganeshan

Waiting

Rating: 5.0

I am belonged to every petal
Of a beautiful rose
I am belonged to every viewpoint
Of thehuge mountain ranges

Yet, I am in the world made of materials
Which is made not belonged to me
Except flora and fauna leaves, flowers and trees
I am only belonged to my loneliness
Yet, I float with every line
Of your poetry as a cloud in my sky

I only belong to my loneliness
I have wife
I have lovers yet to have a lot
Expecting from me
I have my children, grand children
I have relatives just to
Weep over my death.

All collide with my death in a fraction of second
For whom I adorn myself
I am belonged to every Patel
Of the beautiful rose
I am belonged to every viewpoint
Of huge mountains

Yet I am not belonged even to myself
Waiting at the anvil for my turn!
