Waiting By The Moon

Seaker descries, cold and lonely awakes
next to the moon, oh what beauty awaits!
come closer to me I wish to see myself
in refection of your eyes,
I wish to be consumed by what beauty lies

Like an animal to your gentle beauty I am bound
caged like rabbit to your bosom I cling
in and out with ever breath you take
brings forth a new comfort I never found before
you steal everthing within my very heart and soul.

Be still my pounding chest for Loves
moment awaits for time is frozen,
frozen forever, and forever I shall wait.

A very passionate write! Each line is charged with a wild longing! The moon at the backdrop adds to the effect of the poem! Thank you for your comment on my poem The Faceless City!
