Waiting For Her Poem by Ray Hansell

Waiting For Her

She is the love
I wish I had
I know it would make me
So very glad

She isn't far away
But she might as well be
When I close my eyes
She's all I ever see

My heart is broken
My soul is dark
This pain that I feel
Has left it's mark

So I'll keep on waiting
For her to break away
Hoping someday soon
She'll come to me and stay
