Waiting For Love Poem by Ray Hansell

Waiting For Love

Rating: 3.5

My bed is big
But it's cold
Because I sleep alone
I've yet to find
Anyone
To bring to my home

So many times
I had a beginning
But soon it would end
So here I sleep
Every night
Alone, without a friend

I've heard it said
A million times
There's someone for everyone
Well, if that
In fat is true
Then my searching should be done

But it's not
So I'll go on
Waiting for the day
That true love
Finds it's way
To come to me and stay
