Waking Spring Poem by Donald R Wolff JR

Waking Spring

Pretty little blue, a bird
Making music in a tree
Happy are the flowers when
The sun is out, you sing

Little peepers tell us all
The dawn of now, is Spring
Robins gaming on the lawn
A funny sight to see

It smells so fresh, the cool air
Leaves rustle in the breeze
Youth awakes from within once young
In the morning of every Spring
