Walk Poem by My song Resound

Walk

I was wandering, just muddling along
Nod my head to the beat of the song
Close my eyes and feel the breeze
Take another step and breathe with ease

Treading along the street walks
Listening to the hubbub and talks
Thinking once again to myself
Another day and all is well

Chasing down my long lost thoughts
Try to get my ideas across
Try to listen to all the birds and the bees
Stopping by for some snack and tea

Once in a while, pause to admire
The beauty around me with my eyes
Things I'd miss if I were on a drive
And let my dying soul revive

In just a few steps, I'll be reaching home
It's the last trek that always takes a toll
But somewhere, somehow you will find the strength
To reach home sweet home at any length
