Walk Like A Lady Poem by Dorsey Baker

Walk Like A Lady

Rating: 3.5

She walks
down the stairs
wearing
a very short
skin tight dress
catching
the attention
of the men
seated at the bar
they look up
as she walks down
slowly
floating like
a butterfly
upon the breath
of a warm summer breeze
she pauses
at the bottom of the
long staircase
smiles
and then
walks toward the door
just as slowly
as she walked
down the stairs
