Walking Alone Through Yesterday Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Walking Alone Through Yesterday

Walking down streets of yesterday, feeling the sun shining
brightly upon this being, heading into the desert where in-
spiration fills this mind and intellect.

Nothing to get in the way on the road of creativity as music
takes this brain into the beauty of an Arizona desert, noth-
ing like it anywhere else.

Having come to know every corner of it since moving here when
11 years old, staying in it's serenity and peace all through
this life now.

When hurting, feeling down, going into this desert of mine,
walking into reflections of yesterday alone, enjoying all the
memories there.
