Wandering The Untouched Wilderness Of Souls Poem by Sven Rhoads

Wandering The Untouched Wilderness Of Souls

Rating: 5.0

On a blank slate where no one dares to tread
I walk without a blueprint between the living and the dead
Guided only by the moon and the burning hot stars
Reminded of the past with a mind full of scars
Filling my only sail with the howling winter winds
Detached from my kind now that I embody the sins
No devil can lay claim to a man on a quest
When he walks alone to only give it his best

Tears in a crimson flow come pouring out
To put my all into the path I go
Each fiber of my being leaves me no doubt
Tomorrow maybe the day it will show

Wandering in a state where fools wont dare
Untouched is the wilderness of a 2nd sight
Treading terrain of the untamed offroad
The place where one must bare their soul
Plagued with a mind that can never cease
A dreamer that is always fighting for more
Alone, not lonely to make oneself whole
Wandering the untouched wilderness of souls

My being will never deny the pulling gravity
Of the solace within and eternal clarity

War cries that rest behind those tired eyes
When too much is never enough
Never to seek comfort from the common lies
Only to prove what worth is made of
