Wang Zhihuan: The Willow Trees At Changan's East Gate Stand 王之焕 楊柳東門樹 青青夾御河

Bidding Someone Welfare

The willow trees at Changan's East Gate stand
So green in late Spring on both hands
Of the imperial moat;
Too many are breaking the branches recently,
Because of the numerous partings, sadly.
