The Tartar Khan gazes at the North towards his Sacred Temple
Where he had made sacrifices before on the altar
Ere trying to invade the Tang Capital.
Now that the Emperor's martial might has grown,
The Khan's plan in marriage for the Princess' hand
Has failed and he must return home empty-handed.
