"The Yi River Song"
- by Jing Ke (? - 227 BC)
- Translated by Frank C Yue
‘Whoosh! Whoosh! '— the fierce wind did blow;
The Yi River water was cold.
Once from here to go he did turn -
Ne'er should the Fearless One return!
Into the dragon's and tiger's den
The Brave One just went -
Whistling sharply towards the sky,
With the Emperor he wanted to die!
