War Is... - Poem by bethanny taylor
War is harrowing, watching children being ripped away from
War is not knowing what tomorrow will bring, war is looking
into the future and wondering what will become of me.
War is having to live in hiding every day.
War is evacuation moving away from everything I have ever
War is darkness every were and anywhere it can find.
War is not merciful it shows no sorrow.
War is living in fear of everyone and everything.
War is not knowing when your next meal is going
War is unstoppable and never ending.
War is the smell of blood and not knowing if it yours or
War is death all around you.
War is handling weapons you never thought you would.
War is the holocaust and torture that Jews went though.
War is the ice cold chill that lies beneath your bones
in the dead of winter.
War is that guilt that you've just killed another human
being because somebody told you to.
War is the thing that consumes all.
War is like a blackout it's like it's never ending.
War is a bomb you never know when it will hit.
War is a devil it can bring even the kindest hearts to murder.
War is a burden that will never be destroyed.
