Warm Fire Warm Fire Poem by Terence George Craddock

Warm Fire Warm Fire

presently
layers of wool
even put
wool socks on;
to sleep
at 2.30 a.m.
two nights ago
when feet;

did not heat up
using layers
of wool?
no just socks;
jersey in wool
woolen trousers
trendy woolen
balaclava smart wool;

extremely
kiwi cold days
calls for best soft
snuggly smart;
pure merino wool
balaclava stylish
keep warmer wool
on to head heat;

but tomorrow
should have a fire
if the chimney
sweep turns up;
at 1 pm but
you know he is
going to be late
warm fire warm fire;

de first in this house
