War's Recollections Poem by james watkin

War's Recollections

Rating: 5.0

By each marbled gleam, of names wept aright
Country's love engraves
War's recollections, twined; intoned.
For the unmarked graves
Sprigs of flowering, of their own accord.
Orators unasked.
While amounting to a sombre horde
All the clouds, unmasked.
