Washing Clothes Poem by Billy Loving

Washing Clothes

A bush
A tree
A plant
Inside a rhythmical chant
A dog
A cat
A bear
As he waits within his lair
A porch
A window
A door
Noise they ignore
A ceiling
A floor
A wall
Phones intrusive call
A sofa
A stool
A seat
Waiting for the cycle to complete
A bed
A rug
A machine
Everything comes out so clean
