Watcher Poem by Rachel Brewer

Watcher

Rating: 5.0

I’m sorry that I don’t speak my mind,
That’s just the way I am.
I am a watcher,
I see the things around me.
I don’t feel the need to comment.
I came to this world to learn from it,
So I’ll watch it.
I’ll see all of the terrible things,
And I’ll learn from them.
So I’m sorry if I don’t scream and shout,
That’s not who I want to be.
I want to see everything for what it is,
But I don’t care if the world sees me.
I would be more than happy to live out the rest of my life,
Not being noticed,
In the background,
Watching.
That’s just what I do.
