Watching Me Fly Poem by Heather Z. Hanna

Watching Me Fly

I miss my friend
But know he's there,
Always standing
Beside me.
Holding my head and Heart
In his hands,
And keeping watch
Over my spirit.
Watching me fly
As I have not flown,
Before.
And keeping a place,
For me within,
His soul for me
To share, as I
Need.
Holding me close,
Within his arms,
Filling his soul,
With my eager
Love for him.
We two are as one,
In the essence
Of our spirits,
And the wholeness
Of our souls.
